Born 1981. At 15 I started working for a local newspaper, progressing soon to radio and the world of filmmaking. I’ve learned storytelling at Germany’s finest film school, practised thinking at the School of Philosophy while also being educated as journalist and voice talent. Having worked for numerous clients from public broadcast to boulevard media and PR, I’ve found out to be best when juggling with topics, when being able to choose the appropriate form to a story, either pictures for screens big and small, or printed words – in short: when working free. Then I can utilize the best of both worlds: the tools of the journalist, the esteem and patience of the documentary director. Believing in better tv, I like to develope forms and formats, so recently I produced the pilot of a tv docuseries. I feel at home both behind and in front of a camera.
Besides work: playing accordeon and drums, swingdancing (lindy hop, collegiate shag). Mostly dancing.
